U.S. TRAILER MANUFACTURER LICENSE
Get your Trailer Manufacturing License, VIN Code System set-up, and complete turn-key operation for
doing your VIN numbers, MCOs and labels.
This is your one-stop shop for becoming a bona fide, federally licensed trailer manufacturer.
If you want to build trailers - or any vehicles for that matter -- then you need to first get properly licensed and registered with the US
government USDOT through this process to issue 17 digit VIN numbers and MCOs.
We handle the Federal VIN license to set you up to issue 17 digit VIN numbers and MCOs (manufacturers titles) on your trailers.
Under this you are registering to self-certify your trailers as compliant with their safety rules - basically just equipment :
USDOT tires, lighting, safety chains, brakes on heavy trailers, .... and issue your own USDOT 17 digit VIN numbers and MCOs (titles)
TURNAROUND TIME : Typically about 3 to 6 weeks total
Right now the ONE-TIME FEE on special now for just $899 regular price =
There are . . .
* NO annual fees
* NO Renewal fees
* NO Fee-perVIN-number
* NO membership fees
FREE: Starter pack of MCOs and labeling so you can hit the ground running.... also the printing instructions and printing templates for those materials.
When finished we get you your completed and approved 17-digit VIN code and simple instructions for doing your VIN numbers.
Under this federal VIN program, the USDOT/NHTSA is ONLY concerned that your trailers comply with their safety standards - basically equipment
(lights, reflectors, new tires, safety chains, brake axle of trailers with a GVWR of 3000 lbs or more, etc) - and under this program you
will be SELF-certifying your trailers.
They do NOT inspect you; your trailers; your facility; your blueprints; etc.
USDOT/NHTSA has NO desire to be liable for your or what you build. They only want to know who you are, what your VIN program is, etc in case they ever get a complaint about
one of your trailers.... That's it.
We do NOT handle any state or local business licensing. Please consult your DMV and/pr state regarding any particular state or
local licensing you may need in addition to being able to issue VIN numbers - what we do.
